West Bengal: Twa’s Appeal team, Mrs. Dolma Tsering la and Mrs. Tenzin Dolma la had an opportunity to meet Shri JitendraTripathi, the Mayor of Asansol, West Bengal. They highlighted the current situation in Tibet under People’s Republic of China with the violation of human rights, deterioration of environment and disappearance of 11th Panchen Lama. They also appealed him to initiate discussions about Tibet and Tibetans to other Indian leaders.
